Banyuls Grand Cru Solaris : l'héritage du soleil et des éléments naturels

Banyuls Grand Cru Solaris: the heritage of the sun and natural elements

☀️ Solaris tells a unique story: that of a terroir, a climate and ancestral know-how. This solar Banyuls Grand Cru , 2012 vintage, embodies the soul of Roussillon. A region where the sun, the sea wind and the rain meet to shape wines of rare authenticity.

Matured for six years in wooden barrels outdoors, Solaris is born under the influence of the Mediterranean sun, which warms the barrels with its ardent rays, of the sea wind which gently brushes them, and of the rare showers which refresh them. This prolonged aging in the open air gives it a singular personality, deeply marked by the forces of nature.

🍷 Its amber color, with tawny reflections, already evokes the depth of this wine. On the nose, Solaris seduces with its woody notes, reminiscent of golden pastries and Corinthian raisins in rum. It is an invitation to indulgence, a promise of sensory exploration.

On the palate, this Banyuls Grand Cru reveals a complex tannic structure, where the aromas unfold with elegance. The sweet notes of burnt caramel underline a long and warm finish, like a tribute to the sun that rocked its maturation.

Solaris is a wine for meditation, to be enjoyed on its own to appreciate all its nuances; but it will also enhance fine pastries, such as a praline success. Served between 15 and 16°C, it will transport you to the heart of the sunny hills of Banyuls-sur-Mer.

This Banyuls Grand Cru embodies the heritage and tradition of Terres des Templiers. Each sip of Solaris is an ode to nature and the know-how of the winemakers, a unique experience where time, sun and earth blend to create excellence.
