Recently, we presented our new range of wines, Escapade en Roussillon , designed to help you discover places that we define as must-sees in the department.
But at the heart of this initiative is also a creation: a travel diary , a homemade guide, which invites you to explore six places that we have highlighted in the company of Kiki Mag Travel . In this article, discover a preview of what we will offer you in this travel diary!
Discover Roussillon through our six must-see places:
The Chapel of La Salette :
Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of this picturesque chapel nestled at the top of the town of Banyuls-sur-Mer. Accessible on foot, by car or using the local train, it offers a superb view of the entire village below. Special mention for the sunset that can be observed from this chapel, accompanied by the lights of the village twinkling...

The Coastal Path :
Let yourself be carried away by the wild beauty of the Roussillon coastline by following this trail which offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. As you stroll along the cliffs you will see many coves, which are home to local flora and fauna. From ArgelĂšs-sur-Mer to CerbĂšre, this hiking route invites you to discover the rocky coast by crossing the port cities that line it. An exceptional route through the coves, which are home to local flora and fauna that you can sometimes see!

Cape Bear :
Cap BĂ©ar is a rocky point that connects the Pyrenees Mountains and the coast. It is located on the outskirts of the town of Port Vendres. Admire the majestic cliffs there, as well as the 27-metre-high lighthouse, and soak up the maritime history of the region while enjoying an exceptional panorama.

The Organs of Ille-sur-TĂȘt :
Marvel at the unique geological formations of the Orgues d'Ille-sur-TĂȘt, a natural site remarkably shaped by time. Located, as their name suggests, on a site in the commune of Ille-sur-TĂȘt, these "chimneys" were sculpted by water in clayey massifs.

Real Force :
Força Real is a summit located at an altitude of over 500 metres, located around the towns of Montner, Millas and Corneilla-la-RiviÚre. Dominate the landscape from this point, and admire the panoramic view of the Roussillon plain and the other Pyrenean peaks. It is one of the most impressive views of the department.

The Madeloc Tower :
Finally, immerse yourself in the military history of the region by discovering this old medieval watchtower perched on the heights of the AlbĂšres. The tower itself is not open to visitors, but the walk to get there is worth the detour. A splendid view of the sea and the surrounding villages awaits you at the arrival point.
