The Collioure and Banyuls Vineyard is located in the far south of France at the meeting point between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, under the midday sun. The vines are planted on terraces on shale hillsides, from the seaside to the bottom of the valleys of the hinterland.

Black Grenache: 100%

Mutage on grains followed by a maceration period of 14 days.
This non-vintage vintage is aged for around 6 years, including 4 years in demi-muids on our outdoor grounds and therefore subject to temperature variations of the day and night as well as the seasons.

Color: Fawn, brown and orange of medium intensity.
Nose: Intense coffee, soft caramel and currants. Agitation reveals wild and waxy aromas.
Taste: Elegant where the peat is expressed but the praline and roasted coffee quickly take over. The off-dry balance helps maintain freshness and brings out the rancio character and nutty aromas.

Service: Serve around 15°C.
Pairings: It will find its place at the end of a meal on a Paris-Brest for example or in a coffee pusher with or without a cigar.
