The Collioure and Banyuls Vineyard is located in the far south of France at the meeting point between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, under the midday sun. The vines are planted on terraces on shale hillsides, from the seaside to the bottom of the valleys of the hinterland.

Mourvèdre: 65%
Grenache Noir: 35%

Harvest destemmed and crushed. Long maceration of 30 days. Aged for 1 year in new oak barrels, 1 wine and 2 wines for 1/3 of each. Barrels exclusively from our historic cooper Demptos.

Color: Deep cherry red with tiled highlights.
Nose: Initial nose of wood, cinnamon, tobacco and red plum. Swirling reveals aromas of blackberry and myrtle accompanied by smoky notes.
Palate: Harmonious balance between sweetness and acidity, the stewed fruits combine with tannins which enhance the deliciousness.

Service: Best served between 14 and 16°C. In its youth,
to be decanted at the time of serving.
Pairings: Pairs very well with red meat: roast beef in the oven or tournedos, accompanied by potatoes fried with fleur de sel. Grilled or braised lamb without forgetting thyme, garlic and rosemary. A must with the traditional Easter leg of lamb.
