  • The AOP Banyuls Grand Cru L'Absolu 2003

    A rare, radiant, and distinguished Grand Cru. A wine that has stood the test of time, only to better honor them.

    Made from 100% overripe Grenache Noir and aged for 14 years in sun-exposed barrels at the entrance to the Cave Historique, L'Absolu 2003 slowly matured in the shade, hidden from view. The angels' share concentrated this nectar to excellence. Bottled in 2017, its racy character quickly won over Banyuls Grand Cru lovers. Of the 5,000 bottles produced, 1,000 numbered bottles were kept for an additional 8 years, revealing today a rare depth and complexity, 22 years after the harvest.
