The Collioure and Banyuls Vineyard is located in the far south of France at the meeting point between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, under the midday sun. The vines are planted on terraces on shale hillsides, from the seaside to the bottom of the valleys of the hinterland.

Black Grenache: 100%

Crushed and destemmed harvest.
Mutage on grains followed by a 20-day maceration. Conservation in topped-up vats until early bottling. Aging for 10 months in perfectly topped-up oak barrels of 1 to 3 wines.

Color: deep cherry red.
Nose: first nose of morello cherry in brandy, black pepper and star anise. On aeration, strawberry and morello cherry are expressed with notes of leather, undergrowth, vanilla and gingerbread.
Palate: harmonious and delicious, the barrel tannins, cocoa and toast support the slightly jammy fruit.

Service: Serve between 14 and 15°C.
Pairings: Its richness, aromas and structure make it an ideal combination for spicy cuisine, chocolate desserts, red fruit salads and blue-veined cheeses.
