We open the summer season with our second artist: Elizabeth Naudi.
Every month, we exhibit the works of a local artist in the vat alley at Cave Terres des Templiers.
Born in Perpignan, Elisabeth Naudi drew from a very young age. At the age of 14, her drawing teacher encouraged her to enroll in courses at the School of Fine Arts .
His predispositions for drawing and painting found in Alsace material to develop his taste for decorative themes.
Beginning with acrylic painting, she discovered a passion for oil painting , which she practiced as an autodidact, perfecting her mastery of the material by painting still lifes in which porcelain, pewter or silver-plated metal pots appear next to accurately painted fruits.
An admirer of 17th century painters, she developed her painting on dark backgrounds, and to improve her technique she copied paintings by masters on large formats.
