Nouveauté éphémère : Banyuls Grand Cru Création 2005

Short-lived novelty: Banyuls Grand Cru Creation 2005

Le Banyuls Grand Cru Création, where the art of putting French pastry in a bottle...

This new limited edition encapsulates a subtle universe of sensations. For eight years, Création was aged indoors, in demi-muids. The extensive oxidation, linked to this small container, has developed its character traits. The roundness of Grenache Noir as well as 2 years of maturation in the bottle have allowed this Grand Cru to be endowed with great delicacy .

This is how different flavors are revealed, as intense as they are smooth : a warm spicy and minty side enhances the aromas of mocha, which tend towards chocolate-caramel. The notes of nuts, candied fruit and praline intertwine and develop the power of this Banyuls.

The glass reveals an amber, copper color with the beginnings of an emerald green fringe. When agitated, the nose will reveal notes of praline, rancio, dried fig and caustic wax, then a very rich mouth of honey candies and dried apricots will bring gourmandise, which will be prolonged in the finish thanks to a flavor of milk jam and nuts, asserting a signed rancio Lands of the Templars .

The meeting of Creation and the world of pastry seems obvious , more particularly when praline is highlighted, as for example in a Paris-Brest.
