At the end of September 2024, the prestigiousConcours Mondial des Vins Extrêmes took place in the beautiful Aosta Valley, Italy. Organized by CERVIM (Centre for Research, Studies, Safeguarding, Coordination and Valorization for Mountain Viticulture) , this international event highlights unique wines produced in mountain regions, on steep slopes, on terraces, or on isolated islands.
This competition is the most renowned for wines from these demanding terroirs, promoting productions which, despite geographical and climatic constraints, stand out for their rarity and exceptional character.
For this 2024 edition, Terres des Templiers won 1 Grand Gold medal among the 64 Grand Gold Medals and 241 Gold Medals. With 1,015 wines registered by 356 wineries from 25 countries, the 32nd edition of the Mondial des Vins Extrêmes has reached record figures. This unique wine competition is entirely dedicated to wines produced by heroic viticulture.
