Terres des Templiers lauréats du Top 100 du Trophée de l'Œnotourisme !

Terres des Templiers winners of the Top 100 of the Wine Tourism Trophy!

Since 2018, the Terre de vins media has been committed to the wine industry with the Wine Tourism Trophies : an annual challenge that highlights wine establishments in France.

The Wine Tourism Trophies reward cellars, estates and châteaux for the excellence of their wine tourism service(s). They demonstrate the creativity of wine industry players, who are working hard to offer unique experiences, adapted to the diverse expectations of customers.

As part of the sixth edition of these trophies, we will present our list of winners...

Our category

We competed in the Architecture and Landscapes category. Sites with architectural features and/or buildings open to the public (wine cellars, vat rooms, castles, etc.) could compete in this category.
This category also concerns properties located in the heart of landscapes offering a unique experience to visitors. Properties with panoramic viewpoints and a remarkable landscaped environment could also compete.

The aim here is to promote and enhance the natural and/or built heritage during visits, in order to highlight the history and notable elements.

Our distinction

Terres des Templiers is honored to announce that we are among the top 100 winners !
Here is Terre de Vins’ comment about us:

"Here is a monument of French wine heritage: an exceptionally steep vineyard (80% verticality in places), where the terraces plunging into the Mediterranean are supported by more than 6,000 kilometers of schist walls. Dry stone ditches, remains of the Templars, traditional "casots", old Grenache vines, all you have to do is look up... Guided and commented tours, wine tourism trails, discovery of the park of barrels aged outdoors and the indoor cellar (with its twenty or so bicentennial vats of more than 100,000 liters)... You must finish with the wine cellar, with its old Banyuls vintages dating back to 1936!"

This recognition underlines our constant commitment to offering a unique wine tourism experience, highlighting our superb heritage and the landscapes of our terroir, which extends from Collioure to Cerbère, passing through Port-Vendres and Banyuls-sur-Mer.

We thank Terre de Vins for this wonderful distinction of which we are very proud.
