Nouveaux Collioure Rouge 2023 : Bosc et Terrazzo, deux expressions du schiste

New Collioure Rouge 2023: Bosc and Terrazzo, two expressions of schist

The richness of the Collioure and Banyuls vineyards lies in their ability to inspire wines with multiple identities. This year, two new 2023 Collioure reds have been added to our collection: Bosc , a tribute to Mediterranean forests, and Terrazzo , a more graphic and refined interpretation of our terroir.

Bosc 2023: the echo of the forests

Made mainly from Mourvèdre (75%) , Bosc evokes the shade of the undergrowth and the depth of plant landscapes. Its deep cherry red color opens with notes of morello cherries, wood, salted butter and sweet spices . On the palate, the flaky tannins bring density and tension, for a refreshing finish.
The perfect companion to spicy tagines , roast meats or even rabbit with mustard and rosemary , Bosc embodies the wild and robust side of Collioure.

Terrazzo 2023: the mosaic of the South

With its dominant Syrah (60%) , Terrazzo seduces with its intense black color and its bright nose of red fruits with fresh mint . The palate, ample and generous, ends with an appetizing finish marked by graphite.
Evoking terrazzo in architecture - this mixture of fragments which becomes a coherent work - this wine is a harmonious mosaic, ideal with a mushroom risotto , duck breast or a tuna steak in a red wine reduction .

Together, Bosc and Terrazzo embody two facets of the same terroir: brute force and sculpted finesse.
